Who we are
This website is operated by Specified Inspection Platforms LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("Specified", "we", "us").
Professional responsibility — read this one
Specified is a documentation tool. It records, organizes and formats observations that a qualified professional makes. It does not perform an inspection or a review, does not form a professional opinion, does not certify compliance with any code, standard or specification, and does not substitute for the judgment of a licensed or qualified professional.
The reviewer and the reviewing firm are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and adequacy of every observation, conclusion and report produced using Specified, and for determining whether the work meets the applicable standard of care.
Our checklist library is written by experienced building envelope professionals. It references published industry standards; it does not reproduce them and it is not a substitute for them. It is a starting framework that each firm must review and adapt to its own practice, its own scope of services and the requirements of each project.
Demo and trial access
Demo and trial access is granted to a named individual at a named firm, for evaluation only. You agree not to share your access link or code, and not to use demo or trial output on a live project — demo reports are watermarked and are not fit for professional delivery.
The checklist library made available in a demo or trial remains our property. You may not copy, extract, republish or incorporate its content into another product or into your own checklists outside the software.
Intellectual property
The software, the checklist library, this website and their contents are owned by us and protected by copyright. Your subscription grants a license to use them; it does not transfer ownership.
Your work stays yours. The observations you enter and the reports you generate are your firm's property. We claim no ownership of them, A firm using only the Field Report App keeps them on its own devices and storage; for a firm using the office or the Project Hub we hold them on its behalf, and it can take every report, photograph and file out at any time.
Acceptable use of this site
Don't attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of this site or to the demo, don't scrape it in bulk, and don't use it to distribute anything harmful.
No warranty for this website
This website is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Liability arising from the software itself is addressed in the customer agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
